Mac OS and Secure Passwords
Have you ever forgotten your Mac Password? If you have you know it’s not as simple as Linux with trying to get in as single user, or like Windows where you have a password reset disc or other tools that are available.
Mac OS is very secure and the tool linked above is the only known way of bypassing the Mac security password.
In fact Apple seems to have tightened up many backdoors and security threats that would allow someone with physical access to by pass an OS X password.
In our minds this is great, and is a deterrent for physical hackers to get into someone else’s system.
