Recently, while we were out to dinner with friends, the discussion turned to the matter of credit cards. One of the couples at the table refuses to use them altogether. They had a terrible experience with too much debt a few years ago and vowed never to get back in that position again. Another couple at the table keeps one for traveling and emergencies only.
