There are quite a few jewelers in Old Sacramento and though I have not been to them all, I hear they have some very nice jewelery. I have been with a friend to Skalet Family Jewelers though and the jewelery they offered there is magnificent. This store originated in the late 1800′s by a man named Ben Skalet. He began working with  precious metals and gemstones and was soon able to build a growing business with his two sons. I believe that the store was once named Skalet Inc. but was changed to Skalet Family Jewelers in 1983 and is now an Old Sacramento jeweler. This store has a wide variety of rings and other  jewelery and the craftsmanship is beautiful.
