I am admittedly not a technically savvy person.  In fact, for the longest time, I had absolutely no computer skills whatsoever.  When I found myself needing to re-enter the workforce after a long absence, however, I learned that computer skills were suddenly as necessary as a high school diploma for attaining even a halfway decent job.  I needed to learn, and I needed to learn quickly.  With the help of my children, I enrolled in a couple of online college computer courses which brought me up to speed in a hurry.  Since I had to learn how to work the computer just to take the class, the value I received from the classes was double!
