Dad Was Ready For This Step
My dad has been living with us for 6 years. Up until a few months ago it was no trouble at all. In fact, we have loved having him here and being very much apart of our children’s lives. Then a few months ago he fell while trying to go down to the basement and get his laundry. He was there for 4 hours all alone and in a great deal of pain. We were horrified when we found him, and he was so scared. We all agreed that a retirement living community would be the best thing for him. He was ready for this step.
