Can’t Stand to See My Brother Hurting
I could not believe how defensive my brother got when I offered to pay the bill for our lunch. I certainly did not mean to offend him by any means. My mother had told me in confidence that my brother was having some financial problems, and I did not want him to be spending money that he could not afford to spend. He apologized when he realized that he was over reacting. My mother told me that he is now on a debt management plan and is back on track. I am so glad because I hated see my brother like that.
