Facebook Friends Only
Facebook is a fun site I use to reconnect with my university pals during the summer and my high school friends when I return to university. We see each other’s experiences through photos and play games together. But these days, it appears that the negative possibilities of Facebook are on the rise. People read others conversations and “creep” onto pages of strangers. It’s almost to the point where no one talks in real life anymore. Conversations start with “I saw on Facebook…”and continue from there. Not only are people paying close attention to posts, the other party spends too much time keeping everyone up to date with their lives. It’s an issue on both sides of the computer screen. While I don’t post anything shameful, it makes me take privacy settings seriously.
