Powertrain Coverage with An Extended Vehicle Warranty
This warranty covers the powertrain of a vehicle, most notably the engine, transmission and transfer unit on the vehicle. This is the most cost efficient package as far as extended vehicle warranty goes, but it does come with some risks, as only the powertrain is covered. Any other faults would be your responsibility to repair or replace. This plan would be ideal for someone whose car is stable, but is prone to transmission or engine woes down the road. This car may not be in the plans for more than a few years, but long enough to make an extended warranty worth the investment.
