A Story of Hope...
The Tazewell County House of Hope is a non-profit, tax exempt organization that was established on April 16, 1998 when a group of local citizens joined together to offer hope to female victims of domestic violence and their children residing in Tazewell County.

The House of Hope organization joyfully opened Carol Home in Pekin in May of 2000. Carol Home offers free shelter and counseling in addition to services designed to empower victims of domestic violence such as life skills, health education and job training.
